Bagpipes for the aisle. Live songs for the signing. A trio to start the dancing, then a DJ to carry the night on. David and Manmit’s Gunners’ Barracks wedding brought their musical choices into each part of the day.
Josie, Tim and the Duke team performed as a duo and trio across the ceremony, canapés and dinner, before moving into the reception party. Here is how the music unfolded at their Mosman wedding.
Gunners’ Barracks sits within the bushland at Georges Heights, Mosman, overlooking Sydney Harbour. Its sandstone courtyard, harbour-facing ceremony spaces and dining rooms give couples different settings within the one venue.

The venue offers the Sandstone Courtyard, Harbour Terrace and Harbour View Lawn for ceremonies. David and Manmit chose the Sandstone Courtyard.
Duke performed for guests as they arrived for the ceremony. For Manmit’s walk down the aisle, the couple chose Sydney Bagpipers, a nod to their Scottish heritage.
During the signing of the register, Duke performed “That’s All I’ve Got to Say” by Jimmy Webb. After the couple were pronounced married, the bagpipes returned for their walk back down the aisle.
The celebration continued in the Main Dining Room, with Duke performing live through dinner. David and Manmit cut their cake to our performance of “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer, then moved to the courtyard for their first dance to “All My Life” by K-Ci & JoJo, with guests holding sparklers.
“I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston opened the dance floor. The Duke Trio began the party with a live set before handing over to our DJ service. The farewell song was Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long”.
