Lauren and John had plenty of musician friends ready to sing at their wedding. We joined them to provide live music across the day and accompany the guest performers, from St Mary’s in North Sydney to the reception at Deckhouse Woolwich.
Josie and Tim performed pre-ceremony music as the Duke duo. During the ceremony at St Mary’s, Tim played guitar to accompany the guest singers.
The entrance was “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper, in the acoustic style of Eva Cassidy. “You Are Mine” followed for the responsorial psalm, with “Grow Old with Me” for the signing.
As Lauren and John left the church, a surprise flashmob performed “From Now On” from The Greatest Showman.
The celebration moved to Deckhouse Woolwich for the reception, with our five-piece band and a room full of singing guests.
We played a live version of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” for the wedding party entrance, followed by two dinner sets of 30–40 minutes. Chris Gable sang “Love Someone” by Jason Mraz for Lauren and John’s first dance.
