An outdoor ceremony overlooking the hills, a photo with a Highland cow and a dance floor beneath the fairy lights. Eileen and Patrick’s wedding at Seclusions Blue Mountains, brought together beautiful surroundings, classic style and plenty of fun.
On 16 October 2025, Duke Music joined the couple to provide music throughout their celebration. Beginning with an acoustic duo for the ceremony, growing into a live trio and finishing with DJ and sax, the music moved with each part of the day.
Seclusions Blue Mountains provided a beautiful backdrop for Eileen and Patrick’s outdoor ceremony, with open countryside beyond the lawn and white and soft blue flowers framing the timber arbour.
Our duo, Tim and Jo, provided the ceremony music. The couple chose “Can’t Help Falling in Love” for their entrance, with instrumental and vocal versions performed live.
There is something lovely about giving a familiar song this kind of personal setting. Just voices, acoustic guitar and a moment everyone has gathered to witness.
For their walk back up the aisle, Eileen and Patrick chose “Happy Together” by The Turtles, also performed live. Looking at their smiles in the photographs, it’s hard to imagine a more fitting choice.
After the ceremony, Chris joined Tim and Jo to form the Duke trio for canapés, continuing the live music into the afternoon.
Moving from duo to trio gave the next part of the celebration a fuller sound while keeping the atmosphere relaxed. It’s a combination we love for weddings: music that adds warmth and energy while leaving plenty of room for conversation, congratulations and catching up with friends.
Meanwhile, the newlyweds made the most of Seclusions Blue Mountains’ grounds for their portraits. The photograph of Eileen and Patrick sharing a kiss beside a rather unbothered Highland cow deserves a special mention.
With the incredibly talented trio of Josie, Tim, and Chris from Duke Music, the couple’s wedding was transformed into a musical journey that captivated their guests and created memories that would last a lifetime.
The couple’s reception entrance song was “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli, selected for a live performance. It carried their love of classic songs into the evening, with live dinner sets woven between speeches and the meal.
These quieter parts of a reception matter, too. While everyone settles in, shares stories and raises a glass, live music helps the room feel welcoming and connected.
For their first dance, Eileen and Patrick chose Nat King Cole’s “L-O-V-E”, played by our DJ.
Then it was time for DJ and live sax to take the celebration into party mode. The photographs capture the change beautifully: sax out front, hands in the air and guests dancing beneath the lights.
Their final-song choice brought a particularly personal touch: “Come On Eileen” by Dexys Midnight Runners. The perfect title to round out this celebration, followed by Natalie Cole’s “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” for the planned sparkler farewell.
Eileen and Patrick, thank you for having Duke Music as part of your wedding. It was a pleasure to be there from the ceremony through to the dance floor.
