A room full of meaning. Told through celebration, through fashion and through people making change.

On 28 May 2026, we joined Vinnies Finds in Stanmore for its first anniversary celebration. We performed as the Duke Duo, with voices and acoustic guitar, at an evening bringing pre-loved fashion, creativity and community together.

Dressed for the occasion

Our part in the evening began before we picked up our instruments. Vinnies invited us to choose our looks at its Penrith Mega Store, so the clothes became part of the story too.

We love a pre-loved find. There is personality in choosing pieces that have already had a life, then wearing them somewhere new. For this celebration, that felt right.

Two musicians, across the evening

The photographs take us from the open warehouse entrance to the main event space upstairs. Our duo brought live vocals and acoustic guitar to both settings, with guests gathering among the clothing displays and around the pink runway.

Fashion with a purpose

Alongside the music, the evening included a fashion showcase and a panel discussion on sustainability. Pre-loved pieces had their moment on the runway, while the conversation returned to how we shop, what we keep and what we pass on.

Vinnies Finds brings second-hand shopping online, with proceeds supporting Vinnies NSW’s work with people experiencing hardship. That purpose gave the celebration its meaning.

For us, it was a reminder that creativity, community and sustainability can all exist in the same room. We loved being part of it.

Thank you to Vinnies NSW and Adele Vittoria for having us, and to the team who brought the evening together.
