A live duo at Sacred Heart, then a quartet for the first dance and party at Zest Mosman. Jess and Blake chose two different Duke Music line-ups for their wedding, with songs by Vance Joy, Stevie Wonder and Sixpence None the Richer marking the moments along the way.
Jess and Blake held their ceremony at Sacred Heart Church in Mosman. We performed as an acoustic duo, from instrumental music as guests arrived to their live entrance and recessional songs.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to Zest Mosman. Our four-piece band performed for the first dance, the parents’ dance and the dance-floor sets.
Before the ceremony: instrumental music from the Duke duo as guests arrived at Sacred Heart.
Walk down the aisle: Jess chose “I’m With You” by Vance Joy, performed live by the duo.
Walk back down the aisle: “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” by Stevie Wonder, performed live.
Jess and Blake left the cake-cutting and farewell song choices to us.
Parents’ dance: “This Dance”, performed live by the quartet.
First dance: “Kiss Me” by Sixpence None the Richer, performed live by the quartet.
For the party, we played two live dance sets totalling 90 minutes, mixing classic and modern songs.
