Live acoustic songs for the ceremony, music over canapés and dinner, then Tim on the decks. Michelle and Blake chose Duke’s Duo + DJ for their wedding at Gunners’ Barracks in Mosman, with a song list that moved from Laufey and The Beatles to Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Queen.
Gunners’ Barracks sits at Georges Heights, Mosman, overlooking Sydney Harbour. Its sandstone courtyard, Harbour Terrace and Main Dining Room provide different settings for the ceremony and reception.

We performed as an acoustic duo for Michelle and Blake’s ceremony, with live songs chosen for the moments that mattered to them.
For the signing of the register, their choices were:

They walked back down the aisle to “I Want to Hold Your Hand” by The Beatles.
After the ceremony, guests gathered for canapés and cocktails on the Harbour Terrace while we continued as an acoustic duo.
The live music carried through dinner, with jazz-influenced indie love songs and acoustic versions of classic favourites. We shaped the set around the couple’s tastes, with space for conversation as well as the music.
For the reception party, Tim took over as DJ.
The wedding party entered to “Stronger” by Kanye West, followed by Michelle and Blake to “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé.
First dance: “Lover” by Taylor Swift.
Farewell song: “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen.
